Emigrating from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he graduated Cum Laude in Fine Arts and Art History, to South Africa in the late 1990’s, worked for Peak Viewing Trans Atlantic Films for four years. During this time he worked his way through various positions in the costume department.

Mariano has since been Costume Supervisor for many films including Gallow Walkers, Drum, Askari and Number 10. He designed numerous films including Surviving Evil, Running Riot, and the critically acclaimed Spud. When not on a film set you will find Mariano submerged in books doing research, in the gym, or planning his next trip to an exotic destination.
